>Ms. Redd and a Furry Monster

29 Oct

>About two weeks ago, my sewing machine (a vintage singer) decided that it was time to kick the bucket. Im actually kind of sad about it. My grandmother passed it to my mom, who passed it to me, and I was hoping it would hold on a little longer. Alas. But! This means that I have a snazzy new one! The old machine had been stuck on straight stitch for months, and theres nothing worse than a straight sewing machine. 😉 I’m having tons of fun on my new model (a brother).

Here are a couple things that I made with it.

The amazing, super furry, Monster clutch! So much love for this thing. The fur was a futon sample, which makes you wonder how many people out there actually own furry futons. I have the same fabric in pink so another monster is on its way…

And I really love this red riding hood purse as well. Japanese fabric is always beautiful, but this is beyond adorable.
